Projects Documentation

Create new jobs, manage templates, use custom tagging, and archive completed projects.

Creating new project records and templates

Set up project timelines, budgets, addresses, and team roles.

To set up a new project, click 'New Project' under the Projects section. Input the project title, target budget, start and end dates, and address. You can assign a dedicated project manager and team members. To save time, you can clone existing project structures using job templates.

Using custom tags and fields for organization

Categorize projects by sector, phase, or custom parameters.

Create custom tags like 'Commercial', 'Residential', 'Renovation', or 'In-Review' to quickly filter your project list. Custom fields allow you to track specific metrics such as permit numbers, subcontractor keys, or material delivery status that are unique to your business workflow.

Archiving completed projects

Close out projects to keep your active workspace neat and focused.

Once all tasks are completed and final payments are cleared, change the project status to 'Archived'. Archived projects are preserved with all documents, photos, and chat logs intact for historical reference, but they are hidden from your main active dashboard so you can focus on current work.
